Sightseeing bus tour «Kiev — ancient capital of Kievan Rus». During the tour you will see St. Vladimir Cathedral, a monument to Shevchenko, Shevchenko University, Opera House (here, on September 1, 1911 in Kiev Opera House, in the presence of Tsar Nicholas II and his daughters, Stolypin was shot), Golden Gate, Sophia Square, St. Sophia Cathedral. You can also take a look at B. Khmelnytsky monument, a monument to Princess Olga, the Independence Square (the main city square), Khreshchatyk, European Square, Arch of Friendship of Peoples (if possible — stop and get to the observation deck, where a panoramic view on the left bank of the Dnieper and the Podol is opened), National Philharmonic of Ukraine, Kontraktova and Poshtova squares, River port and the bank of the mighty Dnieper River, funicular, Motherland monument pedestal.

Late Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure to «Pirogovo» National Museum of Folk Architecture and Life. You can walk through different regions of Ukraine, without leaving the territory of the museum, as well as ride on carts, wagons, horseback. At the restaurant of the museum you will be met with a hot lunch with traditional dishes of Ukrainian cuisine (soup with fritters, dumplings etc.), also in the restaurant you can taste the real Ukrainian moonshine with a pickle and a slice of bacon. Price is 25 USD. Transportation and walking. Duration — 5 hours.

Excursion: «Sophia of Kyiv», a remarkable sense fills everyone who crosses its threshold. Somewhere behind the walls remains a bustling twentieth century. Centuries split, and in front of the hushed excursionists appears distant past... The heyday of the Kievan Rus, when it established extensive trade and diplomatic ties with countries of West and East, and many kings of Europe considered it an honor to become relatives with the Grand Duke of Kiev, when rumors of wealth, beauty, and vibrant original culture of Kiev reached the most remote countries and peoples and the chronicler proudly inscribed: «... All honor and glory and majesty, and the head of all Russian lands — Kiev.»

«Ancient Kiev, old streets of Podol» walking tour. You will visit the existing St. Michael's Cathedral, see the unique House with Chimeras which is unique not only for Kiev, but also the entire CIS. Fate meant for the House with Chimeras to become the face of the Ukrainian capital on a par with the Mariinsky Palace. Its magnificent facades, as a fancy staircase at the main entrance, are decorated with fantastic sculptures of animals and chimeras, as if removed from the peaked roofs of Notre-Dame in Paris. There is a story about the daughter of the famous architect Gorodetsky who drowned in the Mediterranean, in memory of which he built the wonderful house. Another persistent rumor is that the House with Chimeras was intended for his lover. Also, you will stroll through the Vladimir (St. Michael) Hill — 12-meter monument to holy Prince Vladimir is erected at one of its terraces. You will ascend by funicular, stroll through the most beautiful street in Kiev, the favorite place of artists and masters of folk Crafts — Andreevsky Spusk, on the other side of the descent is the Hill of Sighs. In our time, this hill gathers the richest toll of excited looks and exclamations from tourists. And what other emotions can there be when on one side there is the famous home of Richard the Lionheart and on another — more famous Bulgakov's house of Turbiny.
